1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone is a kind of organic compound, chemical formula is C6H9ON, abbreviated as NVP, it is a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid with a slight odor at room temperature, easily soluble in water and other organic solvents. It is made by 2- pyrrolidone and acetylene under high pressure.
