Myristoyl Chloride also known as tetradecanoyl Chloride. It's a colorless liquid.The substance may be harmful to the environment and special attention should be paid to the pollution of water bodies. Myristoyl Chloride is used in organic synthesis.

Myrisyl chloride is mainly used as intermediate of medicine, pesticide, surfactant and organic synthetic raw material.

Myristoyl Chloride is miscible with organic solvent and soluble in ether. It breaks down in water and ethanol.
