1. Glycolic acid is used in chemical cleaning


Glycolic acid in 70% concentration is mainly used as cleaning agent, the mixture of glycolic acid in 2% concentration and 1% formic acid is a kind of cleaning agent with high efficiency but low cost which can be used as the main cleaning raw material for air conditioning, boiler, power plant conveying pipeline, condenser and heat exchanger.


2. Glycolic acid is used in biodegradable materials

5. Glycolic acid is used in electroplating process


Glycolic acid can also be used in electroplating industry like sodium glycolate salt and potassium salt can be used as electroplating additives and also used as green chemical raw materials for electroplating grinding, metal pickling, leather dyeing and tanning agent. Glycolic acid is also a complexing agent for plating nickel with the advantages of corrosion resistance, fast-reacted and good gloss.
